Upcoming Events

We will be sponsoring families from Ms. Spens's kindergarten class again this Christmas. Mrs. Spens is a long-time member of NCA and a teacher at a charter school in downtown Detroit. We have been given an opportunity to partner with families in her class to make this Christmas really special for some of her students. On November 24th, we will have a booth in the Central Lobby where you can volunteer to cover part of a child's Christmas wish list. Please pray about how you and your family can help those who are having a hard time making Christmas a reality this year. 

We will be having a Fine Arts info meeting next Sunday, November 24th right after service in the cafe for students, parents, & people interested in coaching. This meeting is mandatory for all students & parents of students participating in Fine Arts this year as we will be implementing some changes.  Students who are curious to know more about Fine Arts are welcome to attend! If you know you cannot attend please email Pastor AJ at amanda@ncalife.org so she can get you all the information you will need.

Come to the Central Lobby on November 24th for a Craft and Bake sale after service. All sales (cash and check only, please) will support our missionaries in Eurasia, The Thompson Family.

Sunday, October 27th, from 9-9:45 am, we will be starting Pre-Service Child care for our volunteers. Childcare will be provided in the Gym for kids that can walk through 5th grade. We want to ensure that we supply all volunteers with resources that make serving fun, simple, and easy. If child care has been an issue that has held you back from serving, we've got you taken care of! We are needing volunteers for Symphony of Lights! On Friday and Saturday nights in December, we need your help with parking, handing out hot chocolate, and greeting our visitors. If you are interested in helping with that, there will be a short training meeting on December 1 after service in the Cafe. If you are interested, you can sign up below or at the Info Desk.

It's that most wonderful time of the year, and Amber needs your help! The annual Deck the Halls event will happen on December 3rd from 5-9 pm. If you love decorating for the holidays this is your time to shine! Pizza and cookies will be provided for all who come. If you are interested please email Amber at office@ncalife.org to RSVP.

Senior Adults ages 60 and above, join us on Saturday, December 7, in the Gym at 1:00 pm. We will be having a special time celebrating Christmas. Our special guests will be Pastor O and Francis. Bring a friend and two dozen cookies to exchange. Please sign up at the Information Desk. Donation of $7 at the lunch. We look forward to seeing you there. 

We will be holding Prayer and Worship Nights every week starting this Monday, October 14, from 7 pm until 8:30 pm. Come and join us as we seek the Lord for us as individuals and as a church body.
